Call for Papers - IARP Student Paper Competition
The IARP Case Management Section invites Rehabilitation Counseling graduate students to submit papers for presentation at the IARP CM/DM Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over one-thousand dollars in prize money will be awarded to Masters and/or Doctoral students.
Three finalists will be selected to present their papers at the IARP CM/DM Conference on February 12, 2010. The 20-minute oral presentation will determine the first ($500), second ($350) and third ($250) place winners. All finalists' papers will be published in the Rehab Pro Journal.
Submission requirements:
- Independent and free-standing paper of approximately 15-pages written between January 1, 2009 and December 1, 2009
- APA 5th or 6th edition style
- Cover page giving the
student's full name, address, telephone number, title of the paper (if
co-written, provide both authors' information)
- Abstract (150 words maximum)
- Written
statement from the student's faculty advisor verifying current student
status and that the paper is the sole work of the student.
- Postmarked no later than Dec. 2, 2009. No exceptions.
Students selected to present their papers will be responsible for all costs (travel, lodging, and per diem) associated with the presentation of their paper; however they will received a complementary conference registration. IARP chapters may be able to provide assistance to students from their respective area.
