Chapter Update
The IARP Florida Chapter - Southeast Region held its 9th Annual W/C Claims Conference at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Airport Hotel on 11/2/07 in association with the WCCP. Spencer Eakes, S.E. Region President and Jim Greer, Executive Director of the WCCP were the Co-Chairpersons. The full day conference provided 5.75 CEUs for W.C. Adjusters, RNs, and CRC, CDMS, CCM and CVE. We had 166 attendees and 27 Exhibitors. The topics covered First Responders, Wound Care, Ethics, Workplace Violence and Maintaining Balance. The conference committee included John Cardascia, Richard Celestino, Andrea Dechter, Alyson Casper, Lawrence Forman, Jeff Barrett, Janet John, Jill Baxter, Elaine Greenberg, Sharon Griffin, Susan Lazarus, Susan McKenzie, Sharon Baron and Alan Sokol. Our next joint conference will be scheduled in the Spring of 2008. See you there.
