Hello IALCP members,

The IALCP board has been busy working for you. Some of the things we have accomplished since January include: 

• IALCP full integration into IARP 
• IALCP Board of Directors formed 
• IALCP website integrated and updated 
• IALCP Members integrated into the billing cycle 
• Fellow program outlined and defined 
• Standards of Practice revised 
• Journal of Life Care Planning integrated
• IALCP job descriptions defined
• IALCP policies and procedures developed

We also have created the following committees:

• Standards Committee
• Fellow Review Committee
• Membership Committee
• Education Committee - work with IARP and Forensic Conference Committee

Our integration into IARP has been a process so we are now ready to go full steam ahead with committees to serve you. We have heard from a few members who would like to serve as committee chairs or serve on a  committee and want to get this in place as soon as possible. We have a board meeting on 10-19-06 and would like your feedback. We would like to hear from you to see what other committees and services would be helpful to you. So that our existing and new committee chairs can provide what you need, please give specific feedback on what the committee would do. Also let me know if you would be interested on volunteering for one of these committees.
