Mission Statement
International Academy of Life Care Planners is a special interest section of International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, a non-profit organization. Our mission is to become the pre-eminent association for shaping the evolution of Life Care Planning. We will strive to do this through the following goals:

Promote the continued development of Standards of Practice
- Promote high standards of professional performance and ethics specific to life care planners
- Promote life care planning research conducted through the Foundation for Life Care Planning Research Encourage member networking and resources Promote dynamic in-service training that is dedicated to meet the goals of our membership Monitor and influence case law relating to life care planning
- Promote a cooperative effort with other organizations to promote the understanding and advancement of life care planning
