MCMC offers medical management and cost containment services to the group health, disability, auto-liability and workers’ comp insurance markets. MCMC has partnered with hundreds of insurance companies, managed care organizations, TPAs, self-insured entities and state agencies to provide service and support for over 23 years. MCMC LLC currently has an opening for a Senior Sales/Account Executive.

Summary: Responsible for selling and marketing MCMC’s group health products and services to insurance companies, TPAs and self-insured markets. The Senior Sales/Account Executive (SAE) will work collaboratively with key personnel (account management, operations, quality, clinical, and other functional areas) in an effort to increase annual revenue for MCMC. The SAE will also manage an existing book of business of key accounts for which they have revenue responsibilities. The ASE is responsible for client retention, contract management, up-selling, and long-term strategic direction within their book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Represent MCMC LLC with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Prospect new customers to meet sales goals and increase revenue from assigned book.
- Reach senior decision makers and create interest and awareness about MCMC’s products and services.
- Closure of new sales.
- Participate in trade exhibitions.
- Independently coordinate all activities to closure.
- Travel to new and existing clients in an effort to build/enhance relationships with key decision makers and increase sales.
- Work to ensure clients have an in-depth understanding of our product line capabilities and seeks out new product opportunities.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and retension.
- Identify potential new business opportunities in conjunction with the sales, account management, and operational departments.
- Coordinate communication with new clients including initial communication, formal proposals in response to RFP’s, RFI’s or less formal requests.
- Coordinate implementation and contracting with appropriate functional departments.
- Provide monthly updates on the status of client development activities and revenue growth.
- Provide input on the establishment of sales targets during the budgeting process.
- Meet established sales goals for assigned area.
- Support new product/service development efforts.
- Assist with client billing process and collections as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel 50+% of the time.

Experience
5+ Years of successful sales experience
3+ Years of experience in managed health care delivery or industry knowledge preferred
Education
Bachelors degree required, nursing degree preferred
