Local Chapter Membership

IARP CHAPTERS allow members to promote association goals within their local communities.

Recognizing the value of local initiative, IARP requires Local Chapter Membership of all its Professional Members, if there is a Local Chapter serving their region of residence.

Associate and Student Members are also strongly encouraged to join and actively participate in an IARP Local Chapter. Typical Chapter activities include:

• Chapter newsletters and member directories.
• Chapter web sites.
• Local meetings and networking opportunities.
• Local continuing education events.
• Monitoring local business and regulatory climates.
• Lobbying of local governments.
• Regional boards and committees.
• Peer review at the regional level.
• Regonal work with other rehab organizations.
