This week's presenter profile is William L. Hickerson, MD, FACS.

Dr. Hickerson has extensive experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.  He is currently the Medical Director at the Firefighter's Regional Burn Center & Wound Care Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

Some of his publications include:

•    Reconstruction of the Burned Neck

•    Dermal Regeneration: A New Paradigm for Improving Function and Cosmesis in Skin Repair

He understands Life Care Planning and is prepared to offer valuable information that will be useful in developing long-term surgical plans as a component of life care planning for the burn patient.
